Freshwater Farms Reserve

Freshwater Farms Reserve

The Northcoast Regional Land Trust’s Freshwater Farms Reserve property is made up of 74 acres of wetlands and grazing land along Humboldt Bay. The site features the Kneeland Glen Farm Stand, a small organic farm, livestock, abundant wildlife, a ¾ mile nature trail, a rustic boat launch, the beautifully renovated Graham-Long Dairy Barn, and the California Native Plant Society’s native plant nursery. The restored tidal wetland and stream channel provides critical habitat to hundreds of endangered Coho salmon each year.
